Who we are
Hope Surge
At Hope Surge, we believe that every life matters and that hope can be the spark that transforms hardship into healing. Founded with compassion at its core, Hope Surge is a community-driven organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families facing extreme challenges due to chronic illnesses, disabilities, poverty, and limited access to essential resources.
We operate in Pallisa District, Uganda, where many vulnerable individuals—especially children with sickle cell disease, malnutrition, and families affected by chronic conditions—struggle daily to access healthcare, proper nutrition, and a stable livelihood.
Our work focuses on holistic support: not just treating illness or meeting immediate needs, but empowering people to live with dignity, purpose, and hope. Through medical support, food aid, clothing, shelter, and skills training, we aim to uplift the most disadvantaged and create pathways to sustainable living.

To create, promote, and sustain hope among disadvantaged individuals and families by building a supportive community where lives can be transformed through care, compassion, and empowerment.

What We Do
Health Support
We provide home-based medical refills, essential medicines, lab tests, patient refreshments, and temporary shelter during clinic visits.
Clothing Support
We distribute sweaters, shoes, head covers, bedsheets, and blankets to protect vulnerable individuals from harsh conditions.
Skills Training
We equip individuals with skills in hairdressing, mechanics, tailoring, and small-scale farming.
Family Projects
We support families with income-generating projects like crop farming, poultry, dairy, goat rearing, and fruit farming.
Environmental Care
We promote tree planting and sustainable farming to protect and preserve the environment.
